Our Chapel

Roadwater Chapel is set at the heart of one of the most beautiful valleys of the Exmoor National Park, situated in Roadwater village, just along the road from the Village Hall and Post Office. It was built as a Bible Christian chapel in 1907(Click here for Photo), but has recently been extensively renovated, re-modelled and re-furnished, with full access for people who are disabled, so that in addition to the worship of God it may also serve the social, artistic and educational needs of the neighbourhood.

Sunday services are held at 3.00 p.m. in winter and at 6.00 p.m. during British Summer Time. A house fellowship group and children's activities are also envisaged in co-operation with the Anglicans at St Luke's Church.

Apart from this, the attractive, elegant interior and comfortable furniture make the chapel eminently suitable for weddings, and it is also readily adaptable for meetings, concerts and exhibitions of local history and art.
